09-19-2008 – Presentation of ENGINEERING 2010-ARGENTINA in Mar del Plata

Last Friday September 19^th, in Mar del Plata city, within the First National Congress of Civil Engineering, the World Congress and Exhibition ENGINEERING2010-ARGENTINA: "Technology, Innovation and Production for Sustainable Development" was presented.

Last Friday September 19^th, in Mar del Plata city and within the First National Congress of Civil Engineering, the World Congress and Exhibition of Engineering was presented.

ENGINEERING 2010-ARGENTINA: "Technology, Innovation and Production for Sustainable Development".

The event had the participation of several engineers and the presence of national, provincial and municipal authorities, among them was Gustavo Pulti,
Mayor of the General Pueyrredón county. Pulti looked very interested in the World Congress and Exhibition ENGINEERING 2010-ARGENTINA and expressed his intention to declare it of interest for the city council. 

The closing of the National Congress of Civil Engineering was assigned to Eng. Mario Telichevsky, president of ENGINEERING 2010-ARGENTINA and president of UADI, and to Eng. Luis Di Benedetto, president of the Argentine Center of Engineers, both invited by the authorities of the host congress, Eng. José María Jauregui, president of the Engineering Association of Buenos Aires Province and Eng. Domingo Gandolfo, president of the Argentine Federation of Civil Engineering.  

During the presentation of the World Congress, Eng. Telichevsky pointed out that “ENGINEERING 2010-
ARGENTINA is an event that, given its extent and importance, we think will be a milestone in the long history of our profession”, therefore he expressed the urge to “work intensively on the problems of our country which expects the contribution of intelligence, devotion and sense of duty from its engineers”.

At the same time, it was announced that the First Plenary Meeting of the National Advisory Council of ENGINEERING 2010-ARGENTINA, presided by Eng. Roberto Echarte and the president of the Congress, Eng. Telichevsky, which will summon engineering and production institutions to participate and share this project and contribute ideas, opinions and to integrate work teams will be held on October 20^th from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. at the CAI venue.

The Technical Launch of this important event is scheduled for October 27^th 2008 at 7.30 p.m. in San Martín, Buenos Aires Province, at the San Martin delegation of CIPBA district VII venue in Ayacucho Street 2361.
