AGREEMENT BETWEEN ENGINEERING 2010 – ARGENTINA AND ADEERA

Last October 6, Engineer Claudio Bulacio, manager of the Argentine Association of Electric Energy Distributors (acronym in Spanish, ADEERA), Engineer Luis Di Benedetto, President of the Argentine Center of Engineers (CAI) and Engineer Mario Telichevsky, President of the Argentine Union of Associations of Engineers (UADI), with the presence of Ms. María Eva Argiz, CAI Executive Manager and Ms. Carina Carrasco,  Coordinator of ENGINEERING 2010 – ARGENTINA, entered into an agreement by means of which the three entities commit themselves to join efforts in order to promote the call and submission of papers and the participation in the corresponding congresses these institutions are organizing.

CAI and UADI are organizing the “World Congress and Exhibition ENGINEERING 2010-ARGENTINA: Technology, Innovation and Production for Sustainable Development”, which will take place next October 17-20, 2010, in Buenos Aires whereas ADEERA plans the realization of CIDEL ARGENTINA 2010, the fourth International Congress on Electricity Distribution, in September, next year.

Moreover, this agreement involves a widespread communication of the activities in the media and among the members of the three entities to make these two events well-known, exchange information and publish articles related to them. They also agree to exchange technical bulletins and other publications of joint interest; to link their websites and direct in the most effective way those sites to the Call for Papers of both congresses. Finally, it is established that, once CIDEL ARGENTINA 2010 finished, ADEERA agrees to provide the relevant papers of this event which may be considered of interest by the Academic Committee of the World Congress of Engineering so as to be presented and/or spread in ENGINEERING 2010 – ARGENTINA.

El CAI y la UADI, por su parte, están organizando el Congreso Mundial y Exposición INGENIERÍA 2010-ARGENTINA: Tecnología, innovación y producción para el Desarrollo Sostenible, evento que llevará a cabo del 17 al 20 de octubre de 2010 en Buenos Aires. Mientras que ADEERA prevé la organización de CIDEL ARGENTINA 2010, el cuarto Congreso Internacional de Distribución Eléctrica, en septiembre del año que viene.

Asimismo, este convenio contempla la realización de una intensa divulgación de las actividades en los medios y en los públicos de las tres asociaciones, para asegurar el conocimiento de ambos congresos, intercambiar información y publicar artículos sobre los dos eventos. También se comprometieron a intercambiar boletines técnicos y otras publicaciones que sean de mutuo interés; vincular sus páginas Web a ambas actividades y direccionar de la forma más efectiva posible dichas páginas al Llamado de Presentación de Trabajos de ambos congresos. Por último, se establece que una vez finalizado el CIDEL ARGENTINA 2010, ADEERA se compromete a facilitar los trabajos sobresalientes surgidos en dicho encuentro, que el Comité Académico del Congreso Mundial de Ingeniería considere de interés para ser presentados y/o divulgados en INGENIERÍA 2010-ARGENTINA.
