National Preparatory Congress Córdoba – CNIT2009 “Technology

The National Preparatory Congress “Information and Communication for the Knowledge Society” was held in the Province of Córdoba last June 16, 17 and 18.

The opening ceremony of this event, which was organized by the Center of Engineers of Córdoba, had the presence of, among other authorities, Engineer Tulio Del Bono, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Government of the Province of Córdoba; Engineer Mario Telichevsky, President of the Central Executive Committee for the World Engineering Congress and Exhibition ENGINEERING 2010 – ARGENTINA and Engineer Miguel Angel Ferrando, President of the organizing entity.

Also present were Engineers Luis Di Benedetto, President of the Argentine Center of Engineers, and Conrado Bauer, Academic Director of ENGINEERING 2010 – ARGENTINA, together with UADI’s Vice-president Engineer Basilio Rodríguez, who delivered the closing speech, and Engineer Juan Moscato, president of the Chapter “Innovation in Primary Production and Agro- Alimentary Industries – IPPAI”.

The conference had distinguished speakers such as Eng. Luis Perazo, president of the Chapter “Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs)” of the Congress ENGINEERING 2010 – ARGENTINA and Engineer Di Benedetto.

The academic program was prepared in June between Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th at the venue of the National Technological University, at Córdoba Regional Faculty, Postgraduate Degree Building, where very interesting papers were presented.

Within the frame of this congress, the Argentine Union of Engineering Associations (UADI)  held the meeting of its Board, chaired by Engineer Mario Telichevsky.
