During this last month, the extended meetings on the chapters and congress forums were carried out at the Argentine Center of Engineers:

3.    Innovation in Primary Production and Agro-Alimentary Industries - IPPAI
4.    Large Metropolises and their Infrastructure (water; transport; urban settlements) - LMI

Thematic Chapters
5.    Engineering Education for Sustainable Development – EEFSD
6.    Engineering Professional Practice - IPP

Forums
•    Young people in Engineering and Business - YPEB
•    Women in Engineering and Business - WEB


The authorities of each of the chapters and forums invited people from the education sector, government officials, businesspeople and members of councils, professional associations and chambers.

Attendees were informed on the content of each theme and expressed their opinions and made suggestions. Furthermore, the authorities responsible of all chapters and forums committed themselves to keep them updated and to invited them for the following extended meetings.

These meetings favored the interchange of ideas and had the participation of several engineers who seemed to be very much interested in the World Engineering Congress and Exhibition ENGINEERING 2010-ARGENTINA and expressed their intention to cooperate in the development of the academic topics.
