The Board of Directors of the Argentine Union of Associations of Engineers (UADI) met in Santiago del Estero, on December 12, 2008. During this meeting, Engineer Telichevsky, President of UADI and of the Central Executive Committee of the World Congress and Exhibition ENGINEERING 2010, set forth the results of the presence in the World Engineers' Convention 2008, held in Brasilia. In this report, he informed that the Argentine delegation, composed of almost 40 people, did a great job and, among others, together with the delegations of Costa Rica and Bolivia, they drafted a statement of support in favor of engineers’ free association, which was unanimously approved by UPADI’s Assembly (Pan-American Union of Engineering Associations).
