The World Engineering Congress and Exhibition ENGINEERING 2010-ARGENTINA: "Technology, Innovation and Production for Sustainable Development" was presented on Friday 19, September 2008, in the city of Mar del Plata, on the occasion of the First National Congress of Civil Engineering.

Having completed a first working stage and with the purpose of fostering a widespread call and mobilization of engineering and the productive sectors of the country, the first plenary meeting of the National Advisory Council of ENGINEERING 2010-ARGENTINA took place on October 20, 2008; institutions were invited to participate in it to share this project and contribute with ideas and opinions and to form working teams.
