Argentina needs more Engineers

National universities graduate around 5,000 engineers every year, according to information provided by Pablo Bereciartúa, chairman of the Young People Forum of the World Congress and Exhibition: ENGINEERING 2010 – ARGENTINA.
In his view, the number of graduates is not enough compared to the labor market demand of these professionals. “In our country, it will be necessary to triplicate the number of these profiles in the next 15 years, strengthening sectors such as the agro-alimentary”, stated the Forum chairman.

Engineer Bereciartúa concludes with his opinion about this problem: “I think that it stems from the lack of a strategy aimed at using the most skilled human resources, engineers, among others”.
