Taking into account the upcoming Congress ENGINEERING 2010 – ARGENTINA, will be held on 17 to 20 October in Buenos Aires, the World Council of Civil Engineers (WCCE) decided to join it by organizing its Fifth General Assembly and the meetings of its technical committees on 13-16 October, in Buenos Aires, before the beginning of the World Congress. Therefore, this is one of the events related to the Congress which will allow WCCE members to participate in it after their own meetings.
As WCCE member, the Professional Council of Civil Engineering (CPIC), a national institution, will host these meetings which will take place in its offices, located at 424 Alsina St.in the city of Buenos Aires.

WCCE agenda includes not only its General Assembly and technical meetings but also seminars on Sustainability Seal, Adaptation to Climate Change and Job Mobility, and a Workshop on Anticorruption.

For this reason, WCEE President, Engineer Emilio Colón, and WCEE Executive Director, Engineer José Francisco Sáez, visited Buenos Aires last April 17-21, with the purpose of coordinating the activities to be carried out in October with the authorities of the Congress ENGINEERING 2010 – ARGENTINA and those of CPIC.
