“Engineering Education for Engineers and Women Engineers”
Organized by the Center of Engineers of the Province of Corrientes, June 10 – 11, 2010, in Corrientes   

The IV Regional Engineering Conference of NEA was held at the Hotel Gran Guaraní, located at Mendoza St. 970 of the Province of Corrientes, last June 10-11. During this National Preparatory Congress of ENGINEERING 2010 – ARGENTINA, the topic which was addressed was “Engineering Education for Engineers and Women Engineers”. This Congress, organized by the Center of Engineers of Corrientes together with the Professional Council of Engineering, Architecture and Land Surveying of Corrientes, the National University of the Northeast (in Spanish, UNNE) and the Resistencia Regional Faculty of the National Technological University (UTN) was declared of provincial interest by the Governor of Corrientes.    

It was a very successful event, chaired by Eng. Mario Telichevsky, president of UADI and CEC, with the participation of around 200 engineers and 300 engineering advanced students of the Provinces of Corrientes, Chaco, Formosa, Misiones, Entre Ríos, Santa Fe and Buenos Aires.

Professional and students had the possibility of participating in the development of thirty lectures which dealt with current topics such as the energy crisis, the NEA gas pipeline, and themes related to the scientific advance, sustainable development and the education of future professionals.
