ISHII, YUMIO
Dr. ISHII Yumio is member of the International Advisory Council of ENGINEERING 2010 – ARGENTINA and a specialist in Disaster Risk Management. He has been member of the Executive Committee of the International Federation
of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC). He also chairs the recently created Standing Committee on Disaster Risk Management of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO). He is one of the keynote speakers who has already confirmed his participation in the Chapter “Large Metropolises and their Infrastructure”, Subchapter Water (LMI – Water).
MARCOS TULIO DE MELO
Engineer Marcos Tulio de Melo is President del CONFEA, the Federal Council of Engineering, Architecture and Agronomy, from Brazil, and has been recently reelected for the three-year period 2009-2011. He was President of the Board for the organization of the World Engineers’ Convention (WEC 2008) which took place in Brasilia in December, 2008. He is member of the International Advisory Council of ENGINEERING 2010 – ARGENTINA and he is one of the keynote speakers of the Chapter “Engineering Professional Practice” (EPP).
These last months ENGINEERING 2010-ARGENTINA and their main authorities have had a widespread presence in the national and international press, with the dissemination of general information about the World Congress and Exhibition and the participation of experts in their fields, mainly due to the recent events and phenomena which have taken place as a consequence of the climatic change.
