ENGINEERING 2010-ARGENTINA intends to foster widespread knowledge sharing and discussion about the technological advances, innovations and interaction between engineers and productive forces, as well as their social influence on the way of life of today's society. It will be an opportunity for engineering to contribute to raising awareness in the society it serves about the capacity of its professionals, the scope of their tasks, and the social commitment implicit in their undertakings. UADI (Argentine Union of Associations of Engineers) and CAI (Argentine Center of Engineers) together with centres, colleges and institutions of engineering all over the country are organizing the World Engineering Congress and Exhibition: ENGINEERING 2010 – ARGENTINA: “Technology, Innovation and Production for the Sustainable Development”, to be held in Buenos Aires in October 2010, with the purpose of incorporating a special event of national and international engineering (“World Engineers Week”) during the celebration of the bicentennial of the Revolution of May 25th 1810 which was the beginning of the process o independence in our country.

Kuwait Society of Engineers, with the sponsorship of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO), called and organized the Congress: “Alternative Energy Applications: Option or Necessity?” (EC2009). This event took place in Kuwait from 2 to 6 November, 2009, and also hosted WFEO General Assembly. ENGINEERING 2010-ARGENTINA sent a delegation..
