NEWS FROM THE WORLD OF ENGINEERING – COMPANIES WHO SUPPORT “ENGINEERING 2010 – ARGENTINA”

Some of the sponsors and exhibitors, engineering firms with headquarters in Argentina, are developing from their own offices in our country, important projects in the region and abroad. TECHINT, Ingeniería y Construcciones, is working on the enlargement of Camisea gas system in Peru, and the expansion of a refinery in Trinidad and Tobago; CH2M HILL is carrying out a project for the extraction and exportation of potassium, being the largest investment at present in our country. On its part, AESA develops process plants for a petroleum refinery in Uruguay; Sener Ingeniería is in charge of the basic and detail engineering of a combined cycle plant in Venezuela. The firm TECNA will provide gas compression plants in Brazil and process plants in Peru and Mexico, and Hytech is nowadays working on the engineering of gas plants in Bolivia and vegetable oil plants for China and Thailand.

Besides, Skanska, from its Argentine offices, is collaborating with the academic program of the World Congress; the firm is carrying out the engineering of refining projects in Brazil, and MWH, in its offices of Argentina and Chicago, is working on the engineering to enlarge the Panama Canal for the group which has been awarded these works. Inelectra Argentina is developing refining projects in Argentina as well as power generation projects in Argentina and Mexico.

Many of these firms and others will introduce their innovations in the Exhibition which already has more than 45 exhibitors.
