Introduction

The chapter will focus on the understanding and evaluation of the systems used for the professional practice control in different countries of the world, their comprehension and motivation; as well as professional ethics in engineering and its control.

 

Topics to be dealt with in the Chapter

1.- Professional Practice Control:

The themes which will be set out and analyzed are: the systems used for professional practice control and the responsibility for the control in charge of institutions created by law worldwide.

2.- Engineer’s Professional Ethics. Its Role in relation to Sustainable Development and Production:


The themes which will be set out and analyzed are: engineers’ activity and their actions related to the interests of society, future generations and productive sector, and the definition of the ethical frame of reference for engineers to increase production with social equity and without jeopardizing the environment
 

Activities

Scheduled activities of the Chapter include:

1. Submission of research or development works related to the two main topics of the Chapter.
2. The organization of lectures by national and international Keynote Speakers, with distinguished professional careers as well as intellectual works.
3. Round Tables: national and international relevant people and professionals will be invited to set out their ideas about the two main topics of the Chapter.
